What You'll Do

This is an ideal position for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in Java and Selenium. The role involves supporting Nisum clients' quality assurance efforts through test automation, integration testing, and continuous collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the performance and reliability of applications and services.

Test Automation & Quality Assurance

• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and plans for web and API testing.
• Perform both manual and automated testing to validate functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct integration testing to ensure seamless communication between services.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred) to integrate automated tests for continuous validation.
• Conduct regression testing and support release cycles.
  
  

Collaboration & Issue Resolution

• Work closely with developers to identify, document, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement effective quality assurance strategies.
  
  

What You Know

• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium for automated testing.
• Experience with API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Proficient in test frameworks such as JUnit and Cucumber.
• Strong SQL skills for backend and database validation.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines; GitHub Actions is a plus.
• Familiarity with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of microservices testing strategies.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
