Project Location(s): Lahore, Pakistan

Education: BSc./MSc. in Electrical Engineering

1. Design Electrical power generation and distribution system including of utility/grid (33/132/220kV) system, HV/ MV/LV Switchgear/MCC, along with all applicable protections.
2. Developing various detail-engineering documents/drawings, system studies on ETAP such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient studies & relay coordination studies.
3. Develop Load List, single line diagrams (SLDs), control schematics, electrical equipment detail specifications, data sheets, tender requisitions, power, lighting & earthing, hazardous area classification layouts, datasheets, cable schedules & typical details etc.
4. Design of uninterrupted power supply (UPS) as per electrical & instrument requirement to cater the plant essential loads.
5. Perform lighting calculations/illumination study for indoor and outdoor lighting system and determine illumination level on DIALux and Calculux software.
6. Preparation of Specifications & data sheets of engine/turbine driven generators, transformer, substation equipment, Switchgear/MCC, UPS, cables, grounding & lightning system etc.
7. Assist in preparation of estimates for bid proposals, including technical query reviews, execution statements and man-hour estimates.
8. Deliver electrical power engineering services that meet client requirement. All the works performed on applicable standards and company statutory rules & regulations i.e. IEC, API, NFPA, IEEE.
9. Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures.
10. Fully familiar with the project scope of work, specifications, schedule and all inter-discipline requirements; including identifying concerns as early as practicable and taking appropriate initiatives to address the issues.
11. Identify changes to scope and promptly raise change notifications, including providing any necessary supporting documentation and estimates. Provide similar support for Variation Orders.
12. Raise technical queries to obtain missing information, clarify work scope, and to maintain preferred procedures, specifications, standards, practices and operational requirements.
13. Participate in finalizing deliverables lists and deliverables, ensuring compliance with specifications and functional integrity.
14. Attend project review meetings, vendor meetings, engineering meetings and site surveys, as required.
15. Assist procurement personnel in procuring Discipline equipment, materials and services; ensuring that work produced complies with Customer/Client objectives and procedures. Procurement assistance includes preparing requisitions, evaluate technical quotations & preparing queries, compiling bid tabulations and recommendations, preparing purchase requisitions, and coordinating with Procurement to expedite vendor documents.
16. Development of Inspection Plan, Management Strategy, Task list & recommendations.
17. Participate in FAT & inspection and preparation & resolution of punch lists on arrival of skid / material.
18. Review Pre-commissioning and commissioning index and provide technical assistance on site during pre-commissioning and start-up as required.
19. Preparation and submission of reports containing results of site verification, gap assessment, audit results, discussions, recommendations and action plan.

1. BSc./MSc. in Electrical Engineering.
2. 05 to 10 Years' Experience of FEED & Detail Engineering in Oil and Gas Sector.
3. Expertise in ETAP Software, DIALux, Calculux.
4. Experience working in MS Office (Word, Excel), AutoCAD.
