Main Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using PySpark and Databricks
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets in a cloud-based environment (Azure)
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to discover trends, anomalies, and data quality issues
• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver clean, well-structured data
• Develop and manage data integration workflows and automation scripts using Python
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with company and client standards
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines and workflows in production environments

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and scripting
• Strong experience with PySpark for distributed data processing
• Expertise in SQL and performance optimization for complex queries
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory)
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and big data ecosystems
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Azure or Databricks
• Experience with Delta Lake, Apache Kafka, or other modern data tools
