Job Title: Project Manager

The Project Manager will be based at our Head Quarter in Islamabad. He/She will interact with the PPO HQ team and other stakeholders to gather involvement and complete information for effective project management. Additionally, the PM will ensure that all aspects of the project are properly documented to justify major actions taken for future reference.

The PM will be responsible for achieving the project objectives within the constraints of scope, time, resources, and performance specifications. The key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing and leading the project team;
  2. Assigning tasks to team members and ensuring their implementation;
  3. Detailed project planning and control;
  4. Developing and maintaining a comprehensive project plan;
  5. Managing project deliverables in accordance with the plan;
  6. Recording and managing project issues;
  7. Monitoring project progress and performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis;
  8. Providing status reports to senior management;
  9. Managing project training sessions, if required;
  10. Liaising with clients and updating progress to higher management;
  11. Managing employee evaluations;
  12. Working closely with location staff to ensure project requirements are met;
  13. Communicating routinely with deployed IT Managers and Network Support Engineers at various locations;
  14. Resolving technical and managerial problems of location staff and HQ staff.
Job Specification
  • Master's degree in any IT discipline;
  • Good understanding of VB/.Net, SQL Server, MySQL;
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Including at least 3 years of experience in government sector projects;
  • Certifications in Project Management, Database, or Programming will be an advantage.
