Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Engineer - Power & Utilities at Bureau Veritas Group in Karachi. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing techno-commercial support, sales engineering, communication, customer service, and sales activities related to Power & Utilities projects.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Business Development for Power & Utilities product portfolio in renewable, thermal, and hydro sectors, including market surveys, support to networks, proposals, tenders, etc.
  2. Establish sales strategies to develop business in power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors based on client needs.
  3. Lead Business Development for major opportunities in coordination with area offices and business line/functional heads.
  4. Maintain project, opportunity, & tender lists for large opportunities in Sales Force.
  5. Coordinate market sector networks and ensure client satisfaction.
  6. Identify, prepare, and submit pre-qualification, expressions of interest, offers & tenders, including review processes.
  7. Manage and grow key accounts as defined by Sales and BL Managers.
  8. Support marketing efforts with presentation materials, catalogs, reference lists, and client communications.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power, or relevant field.
  2. 4-8 years of Sales/BD experience in renewable, thermal, and hydro sectors or related fields.
  3. Experience in pricing strategies, financial modeling, and contract negotiation.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software; CRM experience is a plus.
  6. High attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
