This job role is responsible to enhance our sales operations, support customer engagement, and streamline procurement processes. Strategize and maintain relationship with vendors (Principal/OEMs/Distributors) for commercial related functional activities. It also ensures the most cost-effective, efficient, and profitable technical procurement and payment terms for di8it solutions portfolio.

Job Purpose

The Sales Operations Associate will be integral in managing sales operations, handling procurement activities, and building relationships with vendors and customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for sales operations, ensuring efficient communication between the sales team, technical team, vendors, and customers.
  • Assist with lead generation, initial sales engagement, and follow-up with stakeholders, including internal sales teams, pre-sales, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Maintain and update data on products, services, pricing, forecasts, and bookings.
  • Generate reports on payables, receivables, and other sales metrics to support business planning.
  • Support the creation of RFPs (Requests for Proposals) by gathering and compiling required information, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.
  • Work with sales and technical teams to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals.
  • Coordinate with the sales department to address customer needs, target markets, and build contracts by providing necessary information.
  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle with vendors (Principals/OEMs/Distributors), including obtaining quotes, negotiating terms, and finalizing agreements.
  • Oversee license renewals, prepare quotes, process purchase orders (POs), and handle related paperwork using Xero CRM.
  • Ensure timely acquisition and delivery of solutions licenses and maintain documentation for technical presentations and financial reports.
  • Additional responsibility as assigned by the competent authority and prescribed in organizational policy.

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in technology business development, Vendor partner relationship management in Security, IT or Telecom sectors.
  • 1+ years of proven track record and experience in relationship management with vendors (Principal/OEM/distributors).
  • Demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or any related field from a top tier university.

Certifications

  • Solution related Sales certification preferred

Knowledge Requirements

  • Ability to clearly document business emails.
  • Analytical & comfortable with numbers.
  • Basic understanding of taxations.
  • Able to direct a channel with multiple accounts and partners.
  • Above average understanding of excel spreadsheets.
  • Above average understanding of how software licensing works.
  • Above average understanding of cyber security.
