We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Ecommerce to lead our branded websites sales division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing an ecommerce strategy that enhances customer experience, drives sales, and boosts conversion rates. This leadership role also involves overseeing the ecommerce team to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Requirements
  1. Develop a leading ecommerce strategy: Create and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit targets.
  2. Ecommerce management: Manage the entire ecommerce journey, leading a cross-functional team including trading, sales, content, and digital marketing to execute the strategy.
  3. Budget management: Set and monitor KPIs aligned with business goals. Develop budgets to ensure sales, costs, and profits stay on track.
  4. Optimization: Continuously improve site performance, identify innovative tech solutions, and work with third parties on projects that enhance user experience.
  5. Merchandising: Oversee product merchandising, monitor inventory, and identify replenishment and growth opportunities.
  6. Digital marketing: Collaborate with marketing, communications, and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging. Oversee performance marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, affiliate, and email marketing.
  7. Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs to communicate progress to the board.
Qualifications
  1. 8-10+ years of ecommerce experience with a proven record of revenue growth.
  2. Data-driven with skills in tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar.
  3. Experience optimizing online presence across websites and omnichannel strategies.
  4. Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and understanding digital marketing and UX design fundamentals.
  5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
  6. Excellent commercial acumen and budget management experience.
  7. Exceptional communication skills.
