FAMCO Associates – A member of ECOVIS International – is looking to expand the Local Delivery Team (Karachi Office) for their member's network across the Middle East. If you are passionate about Internal Audit and ready to take your expertise to the next level, we are seeking a Consultant & Senior Consultant in Internal Audit to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and execute internal audit engagements for clients across various industries.
  2. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and develop comprehensive audit plans.
  4. Perform detailed testing of financial statements, operational processes, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
  6. Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommended improvements.
  8. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on complex audit issues.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in internal auditing.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in internal auditing or related field.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of auditing standards, techniques, and methodologies.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
  4. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively interact with clients at all levels of the organization.
  5. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  6. Demonstrated leadership abilities with the aptitude to mentor junior team members.
  7. Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
