Job Title: Consultant – Client Relationship Management (CRM) for US Construction Estimation
Job Type: Full time (Monday to Saturday)
Reports To: CEO
Salary Range: 100K to 120K (Depend on Experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a Consultant with specialized expertise in Client Relationship Management (CRM) within the US construction estimation domain. This individual will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring our CRM team, providing them with the tools, processes and best practices they need to effectively manage client relationships during the estimation phase of construction projects.
This is a hands on, action-oriented role, where the consultant will directly shape how the team interacts with clients, collects necessary data, communicates estimation results and addresses client concerns, ensuring the team's work aligns with both client expectations and internal construction estimation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Guiding CRM Processes:
oDevelop and deliver clear step by step guidance for the CRM team on how to handle client interactions from initial contact to project completion, focusing on the estimation phase.
oEstablish efficient workflows for CRM team members to follow when handling client inquiries, feedback, and project updates.
oProvide hands on training to the CRM team on how to interpret and communicate construction estimation data effectively to clients.
oMentor the team on building strong client relationships and managing expectations during the estimation and project scope phases.
Client Communication Framework:
oCreate communication templates and scripts for CRM team members to follow when engaging with clients (e.g., response templates for bid updates, Request for Information, follow up emails, and handling delays or issues).
oAdvise on how to properly manage client expectations, particularly in scenarios where changes to the estimate may occur.
Collaborating with Estimation Teams:
oGuide the CRM team on how to liaise effectively with the estimation team to gather necessary project data and translate this into client facing communications.
oEnsure the CRM team understands the nuances of the estimation process, so they can act as knowledgeable intermediaries between clients and estimators.
Client Data Management:
oAdvise on best practices for collecting and maintaining client data, ensuring that the CRM team effectively tracks client preferences, requirements and feedback within CRM systems.
oEnsure all client related information is captured in a way that allows the CRM team to deliver personalized, responsive service throughout the project.
Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution:
oGuide the CRM team on how to address client complaints or concerns related to estimates, delays, or project changes, providing strategies for effective issue resolution.
oOffer guidance on difficult conversations (e.g., explaining why estimates may need to change or delays in bidding) and help the CRM team find constructive solutions.
Reporting and Feedback:
oEstablish a framework for the CRM team to report on client interactions, feedback, and CRM performance and use this data to continuously refine client management strategies.
oProvide recommendations on how to measure CRM effectiveness in relation to construction estimates and client satisfaction.
Best Practices Implementation:
oIntroduce and enforce best practices in client relationship management specific to the construction estimation industry, ensuring the CRM team is always aligned with industry standards.
oWork with the CRM team to adapt and adjust strategies as needed based on project scope, client size and complexity of the estimates.
Qualifications:
Experience:
oMinimum of 5-7 years in Client Relationship Management (CRM) within the construction industry, with specific knowledge in construction estimation.
oExperience in managing client relationships and guiding teams in client facing roles within construction related projects.
Industry Knowledge:
oStrong understanding of construction estimation processes, including takeoffs, bids, scope changes and project timelines.
oFamiliarity with construction management tools and CRM systems used in construction related projects.
Leadership Skills:
oProven experience in leading teams or acting as a consultant to guide teams through process improvements.
oStrong ability to mentor and train a team on both technical skills and client relationship management best practices.
oExceptional ability to communicate complex information (e.g., estimates, bids, changes) clearly and concisely to clients.
oStrong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with both internal teams and external clients.
Problem Solving:
oAbility to quickly assess situations and guide the team in finding solutions to issues with client expectations or project changes.
Organizational Skills:
oStrong ability to establish clear processes and workflows for the CRM team to follow, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of client relationships.
