JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:

To manage and develop the sourcing team to successfully execute product programs that meet brand requirements. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support business needs, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Bulk Production:

  • Ensure bulk placement aligns with lead times and capacities.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
  • Manage the bulk execution of 200-400 PC9s and 5 million units annually by coordinating with mills, suppliers, support departments, trims suppliers, and product development.
  • Monitor operations on the ground to verify and report production statuses, addressing bottlenecks early.
  • Collaborate with FE and PI teams on bulk-related issues.

Production Planning:

  • Analyze capacities and input data into the system.
  • Use the Projection system of Board Walk to communicate with suppliers and upload data.
  • Reduce MOQ upcharges and liabilities through effective planning and negotiation.
  • Develop alternative solutions to reduce lead times where possible.

Product Development/Pre-production:

  • Develop FT's, prototypes, FLA, and CS samples as requested by Product Development, coordinating with FE/PI teams to meet deadlines and resolve issues.
  • Monitor pre-production approvals such as APS Finish, APS Fit, Size Sets, FTL's, and First of Production samples to ensure timely submission.
  • Coordinate with fabric and quality teams to ensure fabric and garment quality meet LS&CO. standards.

Control:

  • Work with Quality and Finishing teams to identify and resolve bulk production issues early.
  • Implement and standardize LS&Co. SOPs, protocols, and processes with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with vendors, IT, and logistics teams for accurate data in Levi's systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service through quick responses, problem-solving, and market intelligence.
  • Create and maintain OAs in SAP and Solar for timely purchase order issuance and delivery.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Textile, or related fields.
  • 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or the apparel/textile industry.
