Professional Experience:
- At least 20 years of post-qualification experience, of practicing law in well reputed organizations.
- Additional qualifications in Privacy, Data Protection and Regulatory Affairs shall be preferred.
- Advocate of High Court / Supreme Court of Pakistan
- Extensive legal practice experience, focusing on regulatory compliance, data privacy, public administration and corporate governance.
- Experience in handling HR-related legal issues and corporate litigation, including disputes, contract negotiations and employment law.
- Previous roles in government and regulatory bodies, particularly those involving policy development, legal compliance and managing privacy issues.
- Proven track record in leading legal strategies, advising senior stakeholders and preferably handling legal matters involving large databases and IT infrastructures.
- Familiarity with international standards in data protection and privacy.
- Resilience and decision-making capability in fast-paced environments.
- Working knowledge of Procurement/PPRA/SCEP Rules and Regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of Pakistani law, especially which related to citizen registration, citizenship, information technology, privacy, data protection and corporate law.
- Lead and develop the in-house legal team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, providing training and guidance to staff on legal and compliance matters.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to apply legal principles in a practical and business-focused way.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and direct legal and cross-functional teams effectively in high-stakes scenarios.
- High ethical standards and integrity, crucial for roles involving sensitive personal data.
- Ability to strategically lead, manage, and organize the legal department, aligning its functions with organizational goals.
- Ability to optimize resource allocation, streamline processes, and implement best practices for operational efficiency within the legal function.
1. Selected candidate will be hired initially for a contract period of 5 years (extendable if required).
2. Management reserves the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
4. Candidate shall be disqualified if false information is provided.
5. Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of submission of application.
6. 5 years' relaxation in age is already included in above age limit.
7. Selected candidate shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
8. No TA/DA will be admissible.
9. Attested degrees from Higher Education Commission (HEC)/ relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of interview.
10. Females, Minority, Transgenders and Differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
11. Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smart watches etc. will not be allowed during test and interview.
12. The deadline for submission of application is 16th February, 2025.
