Legal Strategy: Develop and implement legal strategies to safeguard NADRA's interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Risk Management: Identify legal and privacy-related risks, providing proactive guidance and solutions to mitigate potential issues.
Contract Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in laws and regulations, ensure NADRA's policies and procedures are updated accordingly.

Professional Experience:
  1. Minimum 15 years' experience of law practice.
  2. Advocate of High Court / Supreme Court of Pakistan.
  3. Extensive legal practice experience, focusing on regulatory compliance, data privacy, public administration, and corporate governance.
  4. Experience in handling HR-related legal issues and corporate litigation, including disputes, contract negotiations, and employment law.
  5. Previous roles in government and regulatory bodies, particularly those involving policy development, legal compliance, and managing privacy issues.
  6. Proven track record in leading legal strategies, advising senior stakeholders, and preferably handling legal matters involving large databases and IT infrastructures.
  7. Familiarity with international standards in data protection and privacy.
  8. Resilience and decision-making capability in fast-paced environments.
  9. Working knowledge of Procurement/PPRA/SECP Rules and Regulations.
Skills and Competencies:
  1. In-depth knowledge of Pakistani law, especially which relates to citizen registration, citizenship, information technology, privacy, data protection and corporate law.
  2. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to apply legal principles in a practical and business-focused way.
  3. Leadership abilities to manage and direct legal and cross-functional teams effectively in high-stakes scenarios.
  4. High ethical standards and integrity, crucial for roles involving sensitive personal data.
Educational Background:
  1. A law degree (LLB or equivalent) from HEC recognized university.
  2. Advanced degrees in law, such as LLM preferably PhD, with specializations that may include constitutional law, privacy law, administrative law and corporate law.
  3. Additional qualification in privacy, data protection and regulatory affairs shall be preferred.

Terms and Conditions
  1. Selected professional will be hired initially for contract period of 5 years (extendable if required).
  2. Management reserves the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
  4. Candidate shall be disqualified if false information is provided.
  5. 5 years' relaxation in age is already included in above age limit.
  6. No TA/DA will be admissible.
  7. Selected candidate shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
  8. Attested degree of LLB/LLM from Higher Education Commission (HEC) must be provided at the time of interview.
