We are looking for an experienced Cyber Consultant/Azure & Microsoft 365 Administrator to manage and secure our Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, Cyber security, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Manage user accounts, licenses, and security groups in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
  • Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Enforce compliance policies, retention policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to email flow, spam filtering, and security incidents.
  • Manage Azure AD, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Implement Conditional Access policies and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
  • Identify and apply hardening measures to maintain and secure the tenancy.

Security & Compliance

  • Draft and implement cyber policies aligned with organizational security requirements.
  • Drive adoption of cybersecurity policies across the organization.
  • Develop and enforce a Cyber Awareness Training Program for employees.
  • Respond to client-facing Cybersecurity questionnaires and compliance requirements.
  • Identify risks in the current environment and recommend security hardening measures.
  • Monitor and respond to threats detected within the tenancy.

Automation & Optimization

  • Use PowerShell scripting to automate user provisioning, reporting, and system maintenance.
  • Leverage Microsoft Graph API and automation tools for identity management.
  • Improve system efficiency by implementing best practices and automation workflows.

Collaboration & Productivity Tools

  • Manage Microsoft Teams policies, meeting configurations, and integrations.
  • Oversee SharePoint permissions, site collections, and document management strategies.
  • Support Power Automate and Power Apps for business workflows and process automation.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

  • Ensure proper backup solutions for Microsoft 365 data (e.g., Veeam, AvePoint, or native tools).
  • Manage disaster recovery plans for cloud services.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, ISO, etc.).

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent spoken and written English language skills
  • Proven experience in administering Microsoft 365 and Azure AD.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Defender, and Conditional Access policies.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to respond to security threats.
  • Experience in IT policy development and cybersecurity training is a plus.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but Beneficial)

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar security certification
