We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance. The candidate should be capable of working independently and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  2. Process day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, expense tracking, and bank reconciliations.
  3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    1. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
    2. Contribute to financial forecasting and variance analysis.
    3. Generate and analyze financial reports for management review.
    4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  4. Compliance:
    1. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    2. Assist in the preparation for audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.
  5. Analysis and Recommendations:
    1. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    2. Provide recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
  6. Process Improvement:
    1. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
    2. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for financial-related matters.
    3. Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounting function.
    4. Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative in daily tasks.
Job Specification

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Accounts Officer or similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting.
  4. Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  5. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  8. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
