Job Summary
As a Client Data Associate within our KYC/AML team, you will be responsible for understanding and implementing KYC standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures. You will handle and maintain confidential client documentation, collect and verify client data, and review client processes to meet firm-wide quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to engage with the Middle office and participate in KYC/AML interactions, providing a challenging environment for growth and development.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand and implement KYC standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Handle and maintain confidential client documentation.
- Understand the firm's KYC requirements, including Customer Identification Program (CIP), Minimum Due Diligence (MDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Local Due Diligence (LDD), Specialized Due Diligence (SpDD), and Product Due Diligence (PDD).
- Review client data and processes to meet quality standards.
- Interpret alerts and communicate findings to management when applicable.
- Engage with Middle Office and participate in KYC/AML interactions to complete cases within designated timelines.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's or Graduate Degree.
- At least 10 years of experience with KYC, or related areas such as Audit, Control, Risk, AML, or Research.
- Strong research, analytical, and comprehension skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets.
- Client-focused with excellent customer engagement skills.
- Experience adhering to controls and compliance standards.
- Self-motivated, committed, and able to work effectively with data and resolve issues in a team environment.
