We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant with 2 years of experience to support our finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and purchase orders.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support in preparing financial reports and budgets.
  • Handle petty cash and expense claims.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of bookkeeping and financial regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in handling accounts payable/receivable.
  • Basic understanding of tax regulations and compliance.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
