Import and Export Executive – Manufacturing & RetailDescription

Import and Export Operations:

  • Coordinate the shipment of goods, including scheduling, booking, and tracking shipments.
  • Ensure accurate completion and submission of customs documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to resolve shipping issues and ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor and maintain import/export records and documentation to ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:

  • Stay updated on international trade laws, tariƯs, and regulations aƯecting imports and exports.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with relevant laws and regulatory requirements, including customs clearance, import/export restrictions, and international trade agreements.
  • Manage licenses, permits, and certificates as required for the import and export of goods.

Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Track incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
  • Analyze shipping data and recommend cost-eƯective transportation solutions.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive records of import/export activities, including shipping schedules, freight costs, and customs documentation.
  • Prepare regular reports on shipping activities, costs, and compliance metrics for management review.

Vendor and Customer Communication:

  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners to resolve discrepancies and provide updates on shipment status.
  • Negotiate shipping rates and terms with carriers and freight forwarders.
Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, SCM or Logistics
