We are looking for an experienced accountant. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  3. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  4. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections.
  5. Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax and sales tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  6. Coordinate with auditors and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  7. Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  9. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Maintain day-to-day accounting activity in bank and cash records.
  5. Maintain payables and receivables and follow up on payments.
  6. Knowledge of SRB, labor laws, and tax matters.
  7. Prepare payroll and manage petty cash.
  8. Correspondence with providers, banks, and customers with respect to receivables and payables.
  9. Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks & ERP.
  10. Advanced MS Excel skills.
