We are looking for a Technical Lead – Unity Development who is a highly skilled hands-on developer and a strong team leader. This role requires deep technical expertise in Unity (C#), a problem-solving mindset, and strong leadership capabilities. You'll be responsible for identifying and solving code issues, managing timelines, leading a team of developers, and overseeing technical quality through rigorous testing.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hands-on Development: Actively contribute to code development in Unity using C#.
  2. Code Review & Problem Solving: Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues in the codebase; ensure code quality through regular reviews.
  3. Task Planning & Time Estimation: Break down features into actionable tasks and estimate timelines accurately.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead a team of Unity developers by assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and supporting their growth.
  5. Time & Resource Management: Prioritize development tasks to meet project milestones and manage developer workloads.
  6. Technical Testing: Oversee and participate in technical testing of the game to ensure performance, stability, and bug-free delivery.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, artists, QA, and project managers to align on technical goals and deliverables.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience in Unity development with strong expertise in C#.
  2. Prior experience in a lead or senior developer role, managing small to medium-sized teams.
  3. Strong understanding of Unity systems: asset management, physics, animation, UI, lighting, etc.
  4. Proven ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues in Unity projects.
  5. Experience planning sprints, estimating task durations, and managing timelines.
  6. Solid understanding of performance profiling, debugging, and optimization in Unity.
  7. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Plastic SCM).
  8. Strong communication and leadership skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with multiplayer or networking in Unity (Photon, Mirror, etc.).
  2. Familiarity with Unity build processes and deployment pipelines.
  3. Exposure to mobile or console development.
  4. Experience with automated testing or test-driven development.
  5. Passion for games and game development.
