Village Director

Village Director (Female) required for SOS Khairpur. SOS Children's' Villages of Sindh, a part of SOS Pakistan and SOS International, is a leading international child care organization.

Job Description: Management and supervision of a residential centre that normally houses 150 to 160 children and young adults of various ages. To mentor these children in a friendly, respectful manner while also enforcing discipline. Help youth to prepare for an independent, adult life outside the Village. Working in tandem with a volunteer-based Members Committee and staff. Reporting to the Regional Office, the Village Director needs to help promote the physical, mental and psychological health of its residents.

• Manage and supervise a residential centre serving children and young adults.
• Mentor residents in a friendly, respectful manner while enforcing discipline.
• Support youth preparation for independent, adult life outside the Village.
• Collaborate with a volunteer-based Members Committee and staff.
• Report to the Regional Office and promote residents' physical, mental and psychological well-being.

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
• Fluent in English, Urdu & Sindhi.
• Computer literate.
• Leadership qualities with emphasis on teamwork.
• Stable, positive, outgoing personality with problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in child care and development preferred.
• Ladies between ages 35 to 50 are encouraged to apply.
