Deputy Manager Finance

Direct all aspects of the finance and accounting functions, MIS, banking, income tax, sales tax matters, costing, budgeting, financial planning & analysis.
Assist the Manager of Finance and play a key role in the implementation of internal controls for all financial transactions.
Produce monthly management accounts within set deadlines.
Analyze cash flow and financial statements to identify potential weak areas.
Assist in preparing monthly and annual accounts, inventory movement reports, and periodic cash flow statements.
Assist in planning and implementing the business transfer from sole proprietorship to AOP/Limited company.
Verify all payment invoices, orders, control sheets, and cheques.
Supervise credit and vendor management, and oversee and improve cost accounting processes.
Assist in implementing internal controls related to Finance & Accounts.
Supervise the reconciliation of sales, bank statements, and bank positions.
Verify and supervise the filing of monthly/quarterly/annual income tax and sales tax returns.
Prepare expense details and comparative statements on a monthly or as-needed basis.
Supervise petty cash management.
Assist with other tasks assigned by management from time to time.
Job SpecificationQualifications:
ICMA (Stage 4 completed), MBA (Finance) from a reputed business school.
7-9 years of experience, with at least 2 years in the same position.
Good knowledge of accounting principles.
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
Ability to report activities to Managers/Directors.
Well-organized with good analytical and time management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
