The Opportunity

• Manages HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and HSE needs of a client account. Evaluates new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes.
• Monitors injury, illness, and incident related performance within the account, market area, or other assigned area of responsibility. Identifies trends and develops and implements strategic solutions to improve performance.
• Manages, develops and implements HSE programs including fire safety and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and HSE needs of the client account.
• Oversees HSE plans, playbooks, and procedures for the account, market area, or assigned area of responsibility. Ensures information is current, complete and effectively implemented.
• Monitors HSE regulatory compliance within the account, communicates findings to responsible managers, and assists in developing strategic solutions to support compliance.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing quality of services for a client/account.
• Promotes safety consciousness among employees by providing data, conducting safety meetings, giving feedback, and visibly supporting safety programs.
• Acts as a resource to staff and employees as an HSE subject matter expert.
• Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides formal supervision to individual employees within a single functional or operational area. Manages staffing, performance appraisals, development, and ensures alignment with company values.

QUALIFICATIONS

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
• Base location is Lahore, Pakistan.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or HSE from a reputable university. Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of federal, provincial, and local health and safety and environmental regulations is desirable; direct experience with regulatory agencies and compliance is preferred. Experience in manufacturing, construction, or facility maintenance/management is preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

• As required by local authority (if required). IOSH, NEBOSH, CSP, CIH, CHMM, OHST - Preferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical abilities. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable service. Ability to present information and handle sensitive issues.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

• Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to analyze figures, percentages, discounts, and commissions; conducts advanced financial analysis.
