Responsible for conducting verification and validation activities for the ongoing software development in the organization and ensure that the product is released with the minimal number of defects possible.

Major Account abilities :

  • Test the application with respect to the provided user/client requirements.
  • Perform Black Box testing
  • Perform smoke testing
  • Perform regression testing
  • Perform database testing
  • Prepare and execute Test cases
  • Defect reporting
  • Perform bug verification activities
  • Review documents according to the required standards (templates)
  • Assist developer in the defect understanding.
  • Acquiring knowledge about testing methodologies and practices and learning new testing tools
  • Performing Verification & Validation activities
  • Performing manual/ automated testing on applications and track results.
  • Assist users in setting up and executing user acceptance test cases, if required
Job Specification

Languages/Tools

  • Mercury Test Director (or any other)
  • Knowledge of Automated testing tools will be an added advantage
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills
  • Complete knowledge of Software Testing life cycle and Testing Terminologies
