The Client Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for selling a company's products or services to potential and existing customers.

Their primary duties include:

  1. Making outbound sales calls
  2. Responding to customer inquiries and concerns
  3. Providing information about the features and benefits of the products or services offered
  4. Processing orders
  5. Resolving customer complaints
  6. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales

Successful CSRs must possess the following skills:

  1. Sales skills: Strong sales skills, including the ability to persuade, negotiate, and close deals.
  2. Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Customer service skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs.
  4. Computer skills: Comfortable using computer systems and software to manage customer interactions and sales.
  5. Goal-oriented: Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  6. Adaptability: Able to adapt to changing customer needs and sales strategies.
  7. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with colleagues and share knowledge.
  8. Ethical behavior: Must behave ethically and with integrity.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required. Some companies may prefer or require a college degree for more specialized or technical sales roles.
