Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of VIDIZMO products, features, use cases, target industries, and markets.
  • Determine the types of documentation needed (user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, etc.).
  • Ensure documentation is user-centric, accessible, and focused on user needs.
  • Produce technology marketing content and maintain the product knowledge base at http://help.vidizmo.com.
  • Write clear, structured business requirements and documentation explaining product features, functionalities, and usage.
  • Conduct research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations for VIDIZMO's products and services.
  • Collaborate with the product manager on roadmap planning and prioritization.
  • Apply Docs-as-Code methodologies effectively.
  • Proficient in Git, Markdown, and static site generators like MkDocs, Sphinx, or Docusaurus.
  • Document REST APIs, SDKs, and software products.
  • Interpret code snippets in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end development or DevOps tools.
  • Experience with automation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • UX writing or microcopy experience is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds with strong technical skills and an eye for detail:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or related role.
  • Ability to understand and write about topics such as video, streaming, networks, digital media, AI, cloud computing, and business applications.
  • Strong knowledge of web application methodologies.
  • Excellent English communication skills and technical curiosity to ask insightful questions.
