Hiring for a Retail & Gas Company managing multiple Gas Stations, Convenience Stores, Retail Shopping Strips, ATMs, Food Joints, & construction projects.

Job Summary:

We seek a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations for our retail stores and gas stations across the United States. This role is essential for ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic decision support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory, and revenue recognition.
  2. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  3. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across multiple locations.
  4. Ensure compliance with legal requirements (tax, fuel reporting, environmental regulations).
  5. Develop internal controls to safeguard assets.
  6. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
  7. Collaborate with store and station managers on inventory and cost controls.
  8. Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
  9. Implement financial systems to improve automation and reporting.
  10. Provide financial insights to support growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred, from top universities).
  • 7+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in leadership.
  • Experience in retail, convenience store, or fuel station operations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with fuel tax filings, inventory shrink analysis, POS systems.
  • Knowledge of environmental and fuel compliance reporting.
  • Experience integrating financial systems during expansions or acquisitions.

  • Work Timings: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
  • Work Days: Monday - Friday
