Full Time Responsibilities:
  • Lead highly strategic cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives and managing projects.
  • Create and manage cross-functional plans via Smart sheets, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams (and clients if applicable) to define requirements and manage timelines.
  • Engage and provide critical information to leadership, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders (Network Engineering, Optical Engineering, Carrier Management, Deployment, Transport Engineering).
  • Clearly communicate roadmaps, progress, risks, mitigation plans and impacts to senior management and internal cross-functional and remote project teams. Steer teams based on business objectives, constantly align teams to those objectives, in the face of ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
  • Perform project risk assessments to ensure team deliverables are being appropriately tracked and met. This could include the development of any necessary risk mitigation strategies.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with project team members and functional partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 3 or 4+ years of related industry experience managing moderately sized projects and programs.
  • Proven ability to drive projects to completion against risks and schedule constraints.
  • Extensive knowledge of projects and program management processes, tools, templates, reporting methods, and management techniques.
  • Proficient in; problem solving, stakeholder engagement/management, team leadership, meeting facilitation, conflict management, decision making.
  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, keeping up a high velocity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at verbal and written communication. Must clearly communicate complex ideas to varied audiences that include commercial, product, technology, legal, and senior leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smart sheets.
