We are seeking a detail oriented and technically adept Web Operations Manager – Strategic Marketingto drive operational excellence, efficient project management, and timely marketing execution in support of our digital properties. This individual will act as the backbone of web marketing operations, ensuring cross-functional alignment, streamlining digital requirements across teams, and being responsible for digital asset publishing. The ideal candidate will be the primary liaison between marketing and engineering teams, translating web marketing needs into actionable technical solutions.
Core Responsibilities:- Be responsible for the technical delivery of website campaigns, including site redesigns, new feature implementations, landing pages, and content publishing updates.
- Project management of multiple initiatives for the Digital Marketing team, from project inception to completion, ensuring cross-functional involvement and accountability.
- Act as the point contact for publishing new web pages, ensuring adequate QA is conducted to a high standard and risks are mitigated while keeping deliverables on track
- Translate complex web marketing requirements into well-defined technical requests for the Engineering team, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing and Engineering, ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration and technical alignment.
- Optimize marketing operations by managing project management tools such as Jira to track progress, measure team performance, and report execution status.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to ensure marketing operations are data-driven, scalable, and adaptable to changing business needs.
- Support the Director of Digital Marketing in driving website performance ensuring continuous improvements in publishing, infrastructure speed, and functionality.
- Provide technical oversight for marketing-related web projects, collaborating closely with Engineering and DevOps teams.
- Lead optimization efforts of the marketing technology stack, ensuring seamless integration of new tools, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance website performance and digital asset optimization for improved user experience and conversion rates.
- Monitor key website performance indicators and develop data-driven strategies to enhance engagement and efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest web technologies, campaign management methodologies, and digital trends to ensure our website remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Partner with Marketing Leads to remove operational bottlenecks, enabling them to focus on strategic priorities.
- Maintain continuous communication with marketing leadership, providing insights into functional objectives, execution progress, and key performance indicators.
- Encourage a collaborative, transparent, and high-performance culture within Marketing and across cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain detailed SOPs for project execution, ensuring best practices are documented, scalable, and easily accessible.
- Implement and maintain structured documentation processes to ensure historical reference and seamless knowledge transfer across quarters.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in digital marketing operations, website management, strategic program management, or similar related roles.
- Strong expertise in project management frameworks, Agile methodologies, and SDLC.
- Experience in marketing technology tools, analytics platforms, and marketing automation systems. Experience with WordPress publishing tools is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively remove blockers and optimize workflows.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and technical teams.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business and marketing requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, capable of pulling key insights and reporting them to executive stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with competing deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Highly self-motivated, with a proactive approach to delivering quality results within required timelines.
