Job Description

AIIT Solutions is looking for a skilled and self-driven .NET Developer to join our software development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, customization, and maintenance of our desktop-based time tracking and productivity monitoring application. This application plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate employee time logging, activity monitoring, and performance reporting for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable desktop applications using .NET (WinForms/WPF) frameworks.
  • Customize and enhance existing features of the time tracking and productivity monitoring application based on business needs.
  • Implement efficient background processes to track time, application usage, and generate user productivity metrics.
  • Integrate APIs and backend services to ensure seamless data synchronization between client machines and servers.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and ensure application optimization and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and application errors reported by users or QA teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product to deliver high-quality releases.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best industry practices.
  • Participate in regular code reviews and contribute to application architecture improvements.
  • Provide post-deployment support and perform regular maintenance updates.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, change logs, and deployment notes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in .NET desktop application development (WinForms, WPF, or similar).
  • Proficient in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
  • Strong understanding of Windows desktop application architecture and user experience.
  • Experience in working with SQL Server or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with multi-threaded programming, background workers, and system-level services.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of software version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with Windows services and background process management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in developing time tracking or productivity monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of user activity tracking (keyboard/mouse tracking, screenshots, etc.).
  • Knowledge of RESTful API integration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of application deployment and packaging for enterprise environments.
