Bookkeeper - REMOTE

• Recording and maintaining accurate day to day financial transactions.
• Handling accounts payable and receivable.
• Managing profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Maintaining company ledgers.
• Handling invoices by recording and approving or denying the payments.
• Complete tax forms.
• Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements.
• Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
• Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system.
• Recording of debits and credits.
• Account reconciliation to assess the accuracy of transactions.
• Use knowledge of local and UK laws to comply with reporting requirements.
• Monitor any variances from the projected budget.
• Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments, and also dealing with financial paperwork and filing.

• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Good concentration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Produce work with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• B.Com/ BSc/ M.Com /MBA/ MSc in Finance/Accounting.
• Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
• Experience in a UK-based firm is essential.
• Minimum two years' experience in accounting/finance field.
