  1. Meet annual targets assigned by the HOD.
  2. Work to appropriate targets as set by the Dean/Director of University to secure a high-quality teaching and learning environment for students.
  3. Teach assigned courses as per faculty workload policy.
  4. Assist in the development of learning materials, prepare schemes of work, and maintain records to monitor student progress, achievement, and attendance.
  5. Contribute to the development of module information packs, assignments, and examination questions. Assess student's progress and provide feedback.
  6. Continue to develop own teaching and learning skills and contribute to the planning of teaching programs.
  7. Employ innovative teaching strategies and facilitate experiential learning during lessons.
  8. Liaise and maintain good relationships with academic colleagues and colleagues in practice.
  9. Supervise student projects, field trips, and, where appropriate, placements.
  10. Set, mark, and assess work and examinations and provide feedback to students.
  11. Mentor 15 to 20 students as per the Riphah Mentoring Program.
  12. Update data in VLE and other required software as per requirements.
  13. Link and inculcate Islamic and ethical values in teaching.
  14. Participate in activities of departmental and university committees.
  15. Ensure that the teaching content and methods of delivery are in accordance with the RIU mission, and respond to issues relating to subordinates and student needs.
