Academic Expert in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the role of Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. This position requires an individual with a strong academic background and expertise in teaching, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

1. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting annual targets assigned by the Head of Department (HOD), ensuring a high-quality teaching and learning environment for students.
2. They will work closely with the Dean/Director of University to achieve these targets and contribute to the development of learning materials, schemes of work, and records to monitor student progress, achievement, and attendance.
3. The Lecturer will teach assigned courses as per faculty workload policy, utilizing innovative teaching strategies and facilitating experiential learning during lessons.
4. They will supervise student projects, field trips, and placements, setting, marking, and assessing work and examinations, providing feedback to students.
5. The ideal candidate will also mentor 15 to 20 students as part of the Riphah Mentoring Program, updating data in Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and other required software as needed.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Lecturer will participate in activities of departmental and university committees, linking and inculcating Islamic and ethical values in teaching, and ensuring that teaching content and methods of delivery align with the RIU mission.
