We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Specialist with at least 1 year of experience to support our finance and HR operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process employee payroll on a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations
  • Calculate wages, bonuses, deductions, and overtime using payroll systems
  • Verify timesheets and attendance records for accuracy
  • Handle payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and government filings
  • Assist with payroll audits and reporting
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure proper employee data management
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in payroll processing
  • Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks Payroll, Paychex, or similar)
  • Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with HRIS systems or ERP platforms
  • Understanding of employee benefits and compensation structures
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
