Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution while maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
  1. Payroll Processing: Process payroll for employees on a regular basis using various payroll software.
  2. Record Management: Maintain and update payroll records, including salaries, timekeeping, benefits, and deductions.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal laws, including tax regulations and labor laws.
  4. Tax Filings: Prepare and submit payroll tax reports, filings, and payments in a timely manner.
  5. Benefits Coordination: Coordinate payroll deductions related to benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, garnishments, etc.
  6. Employee Support: Provide support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  7. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll, providing required documentation and explanations.
  8. Reporting: Generate reports on payroll costs, employee earnings, and other related financial metrics as requested.
  9. Process Optimization: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance payroll operations.
  10. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field. Minimum 2–3 years of payroll processing experience.
  11. Software Proficiency: Experience with payroll systems and MS Excel.
  12. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and tax rules. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
