Entry-Level Librarian

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Librarian to join our library team in Multan. This role involves providing library services and resources to our patrons. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about books and knowledge, looking to start their career in librarianship.
Responsibilities:

1. Assist patrons in finding and accessing library materials.
2. Organize and maintain library collections, including cataloguing, shelving, and weeding.
3. Develop and implement engaging programs and activities for library users.
4. Provide information literacy instruction to library users.
5. Process new materials for circulation.
6. Assist with reference inquiries via in-person, phone, email, and online chat.
7. Collaborate with staff to plan and execute events and initiatives.
8. Participate in professional development to enhance librarianship skills.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (Master's preferred).
2. Strong customer service skills.
3. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
4. Ability to work independently and in a team.
5. Proficient with library management systems and computer skills.
6. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
7. Adaptability to new technologies and workflows.

Benefits:

• Salary of $1400 per month.
