Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and versatile Video Script Writer to develop engaging, research-driven scripts for YouTube videos, Instagram Reels, and other short- and long-form video content. This is a freelance, remote role ideal for individuals who can write with clarity, creativity, and strong storytelling techniques. Writers will be compensated per approved script.

Responsibilities:

· Write compelling, original scripts for YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms.

· Adapt tone, language, and format to fit both long-form (5–10 min) and short-form (30–60 sec) content.

· Research content topics thoroughly to ensure accuracy, value, and audience relevance.

· Collaborate with the video production team to match the script to visual cues and storytelling flow.

· Follow content briefs, style guides, and creative direction.

• Revise scripts based on internal feedback and creative reviews.

• Ensure delivery of scripts in a timely manner while meeting quality expectations.

·
• Stay updated on trends in video content, viewer behavior, and platform algorithms.

Requirements:

· Proven experience writing scripts for video content (YouTube, Instagram, or similar platforms).

· Excellent storytelling, structure, and pacing for digital video formats.

· Ability to write in a clear, conversational, and emotionally engaging style.

· Strong research skills, particularly for fact-based or educational content.

· Understanding of audience engagement techniques and video hooks.

· Experience working with creative teams or editors preferred.

· Ability to meet deadlines and accept feedback constructively.

· Prior samples or links to published video work preferred.

Additional Notes:

· Writers will receive detailed briefs including video objective, target audience, tone, and duration.

· Payment is task-based and issued upon submission and approval of final scripts.

· This is a fully remote and flexible position.
