Qualifications

Applications are invited for a temporary (likely to become permanent) teaching position at Government College University, Faisalabad, from Pakistani Nationals. The position offers a pay scale plus usual allowances as permissible under the rules of the University. Candidates must meet the qualifications and experience detailed below:

Position

Lecturer (BPS-18) in Fine Arts (Painting) (01 Post)

Minimum Qualification

First Class Master's Degree under the Annual System and CGPA 3.00/4.00 under the Semester System OR an equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution. The condition of no 3rd division shall not apply to candidates holding a higher degree such as M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent, with at most one 3rd division in their academic career. Candidates with a 2nd Division in their Master's Degree but holding a higher degree (M.Phil/Ph.D.) with 18 years of education may also be considered.

Application Instructions
  1. The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the University website ) and must be submitted with a demand draft of Rs. 700/- in favor of the Treasurer, Government College University, Faisalabad. Applicants requesting the form by post should send a written request with a self-addressed large envelope and Rs. 30/- postage stamps. The completed form must be supported by attested copies of educational testimonials/certificates, I.D. Card, two recent photographs, and an updated Curriculum Vitae.
  2. Applicants from abroad may submit their applications on plain paper, along with a recent Curriculum Vitae, attested copies of degrees/testimonials, and experience certificates.
  3. Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
  4. The University reserves the right to reject any application or not fill the position without reason.
  5. Applications must be submitted in triplicate on the prescribed form.
  6. Candidates already in service must apply through proper channels by the deadline.
