Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare and deliver informative and engaging lectures and practical classes focused on culinary arts methodologies.
  • Develop, review, and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments that align with academic standards and industry best practices.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate students during kitchen training sessions, ensuring adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality standards.
  • Provide timely academic guidance, constructive feedback, and mentorship to students, fostering their growth and development in culinary skills.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, examinations, and hands-on practical tests to ensure academic integrity.
  • Remain current with contemporary culinary trends and modern cooking techniques, integrating these into the curriculum and teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with faculty members in the development of curriculum and accreditation processes to enhance the learning experience.
  • Engage in research projects, workshops, and professional development activities, contributing to the culinary arts community.
  • Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and organization of kitchen equipment and resources, promoting a safe learning environment.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department to support departmental objectives.
