
MIS Analyst

This position is responsible for delivering actionable insights that assist in tracking business performance, guiding strategic planning initiatives, and supporting portfolio management. The MIS Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring timely and reliable information is available for decision-making. In addition, the role involves optimizing reporting systems, managing data integrity, and supporting portfolio analysis to enhance investment decisions and overall business outcomes. The MIS Analyst is also responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements and ensuring the alignment of reporting tools with organizational goals.
Key result Areas- Design, implement, and monitor sales incentive programs to drive performance and align with business objectives.
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of incentive metrics to evaluate effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and HR to ensure timely execution and communication of incentive plans.
- Develop, track, and analyze campaign performance data to provide actionable insights.
- Ensure accurate reporting on campaign KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and assist in the optimization of marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure timely execution and reporting of campaigns.
- Maintain and update marketing calendars to track upcoming campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Ensure proper integration of marketing timelines with reporting systems for seamless tracking and execution.
- Track and manage leads throughout the funnel, from acquisition to conversion.
- Generate reports on lead performance, including lead source, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide insights to optimize lead generation strategies and improve sales funnel performance.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics.
- Provide reports on user behavior, traffic sources, and conversion rates to inform marketing and sales strategies.
- Work with IT and marketing teams to implement necessary tracking mechanisms and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare comprehensive campaign closure notes that summarize performance, outcomes, and key learnings.
- Include detailed analysis of campaign successes, challenges, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Ensure that closure notes are distributed to relevant stakeholders for review and strategic alignment.
- Ensure all data used in reports is accurate, complete, and timely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any data discrepancies or reporting issues promptly.
- Provide actionable insights derived from campaign, website, and lead data to support the company\'s strategic planning and decision-making.
- Work closely with business and marketing teams to align reporting efforts with business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for improving the data collection, reporting, and analysis processes.
- Recommend and implement tools or processes that enhance the efficiency of campaign management, lead tracking, and performance analysis.
- Skills:
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying and resolving data discrepancies or reporting issues.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation, pivot tables, and advanced formulas. Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM systems.
- Communication & Reporting: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to create clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and presentations for management and other teams.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and the integrity of reports. Ability to spot errors in data, identify inconsistencies, and troubleshoot system or reporting issues effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, and senior management. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and facilitate communication between teams.
- Knowledge:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong understanding of data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and trend identification. Familiarity with management reporting tools and systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI). Knowledge of KPIs relevant to marketing, sales, and business operations. 2-4 years of experience in an MIS or data analysis role, preferably in a marketing, business intelligence, or related field. Experience in managing or supporting incentive processing, digital marketing campaigns, lead management processes, and reporting systems. Proven track record of working with marketing teams and providing insights that drive business performance.
- Project Management Experience: Experience in managing marketing calendars, project timelines, and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Advanced Analytical Tools Experience: Hands-on experience with advanced data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and CRM systems. Exposure to web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or other similar platforms.
