IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

In the regions, PTCL Group sources a wide range of materials and services to support projects, deployments, maintenance, operations, and internal needs through Regional Procurement Committees (RPC). The Manager (Regional Procurement), as a member of the RPC, is responsible for managing procurement activities in assigned regions. This includes finalizing RFP packs, coordinating RFQs with vendors, issuing Purchase Orders in SAP, preparing award recommendations, and ensuring complete tender documentation. The role aims to secure timely, cost-effective, and quality procurement of required services and materials for the relevant regions or functions.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT

  • Ensure full compliance with the Joint Procurement Manual (JPM) and Delegation of Power (DoP).
  • Complete RFP and RFQ activities within timelines defined in the JPM.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to identify and engage existing and potential vendors for each region and category/function.
  • Prepare comparative statements within 3 working days and conduct analytical reviews against price benchmarks.
  • Prepare cases for approval (CFA) within 1 working day after RPC approval.
  • Submit PSR, open PO/PR reports, and procurement cycle reports to the Senior Manager (SM) Regional Procurement North-I by or before the 6th of each month.
  • Share weekly open RFP/RFQ/activity reports by the 2nd working day of each week.
  • Complete the renewal process (via extension or fresh RFP) at least three months before the expiry of existing frame agreements.
  • Distribute work among contracted vendors according to the approved award strategy, or ensure fair and rational distribution if no strategy is defined.
  • Obtain necessary approvals as per DoP and create POs in SAP, ensuring all required information is captured within 3 working days or as per JPM timelines.

Qualification:

  • Professional Degree in Business Administration/Finance or Supply Chain Management from recognized institute.
