Position Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our Finance team in Karachi. This role is integral to our Strategic finance, providing critical insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will leverage strong analytical skills and financial acumen to transform data into actionable business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze financial and operational performance metrics, identifying trends and investigating variances.
  • Develop comprehensive financial reports and interactive dashboards for executive leadership.
  • Prepare polished presentations for Management and Board of Directors highlighting key performance indicators.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand performance drivers and align financial projections with strategic objectives.
  • Collect, consolidate, and interpret financial data from various internal and external sources.
  • Develop and optimize databases and systems for financial data management.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic initiatives and business growth.

Process Support

  • Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with detailed variance analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling as requested by leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally to enhance financial visibility and decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • ACCA qualification strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis or management reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights.

Preferred

  • Experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Hyperion, SQL).
  • Knowledge of data visualization platforms.
  • Background in fintech or payment processing industries.
