Mindshare is an agency of GroupM, the world's largest media investment company, and is part of WPP. We are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently seeking a Manager Media Buying to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating media deals for our local clients, handling media vendors, and facilitating clients throughout the buying process. Additional duties may be assigned. The role involves both independent and coordinated buying initiatives.

Goals for the Role: In three months:
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of buying and planning systems.
  • Understand the m/SIX buying and planning process, including proprietary tools.
  • Execute basic media and proprietary campaigns.
In six months:
  • Conduct negotiations with partners and close deals.
  • Analyze and interpret data and its impact.
  • Develop strong relationships with partners.
In 12 months:
  • Develop, execute, and analyze negotiation deals.
  • Promote Mediacom proprietary products.
  • Close negotiation deals and manage assigned clients.
Typical Day at Mindshare:
  • Construct airing deals.
  • Monitor KPI clients.
  • Track daily TV activities and ratings.
  • Monitor positions and droppages.
  • Observe competition.
  • Coordinate with support functions.
  • Prepare CPRP workings.
  • Collaborate with strategic units.
  • Coordinate with channels for placements and reducing droppages.
  • Generate weekly droppage reports and address issues with channels.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BBA/MBA from a reputable university or equivalent.
  • At least 2+ years of media buying experience.

  • Knowledge of media systems.
