Role Description:


• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases (R12.x environments preferred).


• Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies.


• Perform backup, cloning, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution.


• Plan and execute database patching and upgrades.


• Manage database security, user accounts, and access privileges with Oracle Databases.


• Troubleshoot database issues and provide 24/7 support as needed.


• Develop and maintain database documentation and policies.


• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support business needs.


• Experience in Oracle APEX server maintenance is a plus.

Qualification:


• Master's/ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field from HEC recognized institute.


• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with hands-on knowledge of Oracle 12c/19c or higher.


• Strong skills in database installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.


• Experience with RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.


• Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database security best practices.


• Ability to troubleshoot complex database problems and provide solutions promptly.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Experience in large-scale, enterprise, and mission-critical environments preferred.
