Senior Manager - Industrial Relation / Security Admin

We are looking for a Senior Manager IR for one of the leading textile manufacturing clients based in Karachi.

Responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Maintaining management's right to manage
  2. Labor contract administration and interpretation, including Benefit Agreements
  3. Participate in contract negotiations as a contractual and benefits expert, as well as a key member of the strategy team
  4. Administer all disciplinary actions in bargaining plants
  5. Supervise and train the Superintendent - Industrial Relations and Industrial Relation Representatives who serve manufacturing sites and plant leadership
  6. Educate Business Units on contractual requirements and alternative approaches to labor problems
  7. Represent the company in all labor matters (arbitration and managing outside legal counsel)
  8. Employee Welfare and Engagement functions, such as formulating and implementing Employee Engagement Calendar and organizing plant-level events
  9. Social Compliance
  10. Administration, including managing the canteen and its compliance, housekeeping of the plant, ensuring plant security, and managing the annual IR budget
