Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with excellent Python programming and analytical skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deriving actionable insights from large datasets, building predictive models, and helping shape data-driven strategies. You should have a strong grasp of statistical methods, machine learning, data storytelling, and Excel for prototyping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Clean, process, and analyze large, complex datasets.
  • Develop and maintain predictive analytics pipelines using Python.
  • Communicate findings through visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Use SQL to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Conduct A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and other statistical analyses.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science and AI.
  • Translate business challenges into data science solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Proficiency in Excel for prototyping.
  • Solid understanding of statistics, data mining, and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with SQL and working with large databases.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Power BI, or Tableau).
  • Self-driven to take new initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of MLOps and model deployment best practices.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and agile environments.
