Ciklum is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team full-time in Pakistan.

About the role:

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be part of a cross-functional team working for a healthcare technology company that offers platforms and solutions to improve pharmacy benefits management. Our technology helps clients simplify their operations and consumers save on prescriptions. We provide innovative SaaS solutions with integrated intelligence on a single platform that connects the pharmacy ecosystem. Leveraging real-time data, our partners optimize their business models in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Develop prototypes, mathematical models, algorithms, machine learning techniques, and analytics to support insights and visualization of complex data
• Perform exploratory data analysis to draw broad conclusions from datasets
• Provide optimization recommendations to drive KPIs across teams
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements in functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
• Work with business analysts and data engineers to understand and support their use cases
• Identify opportunities for leveraging data to enhance business solutions
• Explore new experimentation methods and statistical techniques to improve decision-making
• Cross-train team members on developed technologies and learn new ones
• Contribute to team activities, community building, conferences, and best practices

Requirements:

• We value your experience and fit, even if you don't meet every criterion
• 5+ years of developing Data Science solutions with a proven impact on business
• Bachelor's or Master's in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Econometrics, or related fields
• Proven ability to solve business problems using machine learning and statistics
• 4+ years applying various ML techniques: regression, classification, clustering, etc.
• Understanding of ML algorithms' advantages, limitations, and performance constraints
• 4+ years in Python for ML solutions and statistical analysis (Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, etc.)
• Experience with large datasets, including healthcare and time series data
• Experience with NLP, deep learning, and GenAI
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries
• SQL expertise for data processing and reporting
• 3+ years maintaining OOP ML solutions
• Knowledge of CRISP-ML(Q) / TDSP methodologies
• 1+ year of MLOps experience: pipelines, Docker, containerization, orchestration
• Experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML tools
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Strong foundation in Probability, Statistics, and Mathematics behind ML
• 1+ year in Deep Learning with TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Data Science or ML certifications, or published research papers
• Experience with Kubernetes, Databricks, Snowflake
• 1+ year of Big Data experience (Hadoop, Spark)
• Knowledge of NoSQL and columnar/graph databases
