TopSpot is seeking a talented Podcast Editor with 1 - 2 years of professional experience.

The ideal candidate should be hardworking, dedicated, and self-motivated, with the ability to learn and grow in a friendly and challenging work environment that encourages effort and development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Email communication with clients regarding ongoing podcast insights.
  2. Managing social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  3. Analyzing ways to maximize podcast downloads and reach through social media strategies.
  4. Generating monthly ideas for podcast growth across various platforms.
  5. Editing audio, adding clips, splicing, processing with enhancements.
  6. Ensuring audio quality according to set parameters.
  7. Working with raw .wav files to splice, edit, enhance, and export as .mp3.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of the US accent and excellent listening skills.
  • Proficiency in Audacity for basic edits and content clipping.
  • Proactive attitude, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Strong email communication skills and experience dealing with clients.
  • Excellent grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, and word usage.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Skills in data analysis to provide insights based on raw data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of social media platforms and ability to develop new strategies.
  • Strong web research skills.
