We're hiring a YouTube Ads Growth Specialist with one clear mandate: scale views, subscribers, and brand presence for podcast YouTube channels through strategic video advertising.

The Mission

This is not a passive media buying role. You're here to grow podcast channels with intelligent, data-backed video advertising—from high-retention episode clips to engaging trailers that convert cold viewers into subscribers. You'll be the driving force behind turning podcast content into consistent channel growth.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and optimize YouTube Ads (In-Stream, In-Feed, Shorts) aimed at growing subscribers, increasing views, and boosting overall channel authority.
  • Partner with our podcast editors to craft short, compelling trailers from full episodes specifically designed for paid acquisition.
  • Conduct channel audits and audience research to inform targeting and creative strategy.
  • Set up and manage tracking systems (Google Ads, GTM, GA4) for CPV, SAC (subscriber acquisition cost), watch time per dollar, and CTR.
  • Collaborate with our creative, strategy, and analytics teams to align campaign execution with podcast publishing calendars.
  • Generate detailed weekly reports with actionable recommendations based on performance trends.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience running YouTube Ads focused on channel growth, not just lead generation or ecommerce. (You will be asked for screenshots).
  • Demonstrated success in growing YouTube channels to 10k+ subscribers or generating significant monthly watch time through paid campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube's recommendation engine, audience retention mechanics, and video performance analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Ads, including campaign setup, targeting segmentation, remarketing, and custom conversions.
  • Able to brief editors and creatives with precision—what makes a trailer convert vs. just entertain.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and analytical reporting skills.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience marketing podcasts or creator-driven content.
  • Ability to do light edits or adjust clips using tools like Descript, CapCut, or Premiere.
  • Familiarity with podcasting platforms, shorts strategy, or full-funnel video ad architecture.
