Technical Lead

Desol Int is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead with expertise in MERN stack development.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing technical guidance, architectural expertise, and mentorship to the development team.
2. Leading the design and development of robust, scalable, and efficient applications using MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js (MERN).
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure technical feasibility.
4. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous innovation and improvement.

Team Management:

1. Supervising and leading a team of developers, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
2. Conducting regular code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure high standards of code quality and adherence to coding standards.
3. Facilitating knowledge sharing, learning, and skill development within the team using platforms such as Jira and Slack.
4. Identifying training needs and providing coaching to enhance the team's technical capabilities.
5. Managing team dynamics, effectively resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Coding and Development:

1. Leading by example by actively participating in coding activities and taking ownership of critical modules or complex features.
2. Ensuring that established coding practices are followed and that high-quality code is delivered on time.
3. Collaborating with the team to solve technical challenges and make informed decisions using tools like Git for version control and Jira for project management.
4. Performing code reviews, identifying areas of improvement, and initiating code refactoring initiatives.

Communication and Collaboration:

1. Effectively communicating technical concepts, project updates, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using various communication tools including Slack and email.
2. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including managers, designers, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
3. Serving as a bridge between the development team and management, providing regular updates, insights, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 4 years of total experience in software development.
3. Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and ES6.
4. Proficiency in Redux and ReactJS.
5. Expertise in NodeJS, REST, MySQL/PostgreSQL, GraphQL, WebSocket, MongoDB, Redis, etc.
6. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and familiar with project management tools like Jira.
7. Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
8. Proven experience in team management, including task allocation, performance evaluation, and mentorship.
9. Strong coding skills and an active contributor to the development process.
10. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to a broad range of audiences.
11. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with keen attention to detail.
12. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
13. Proactive and self-driven with a strong commitment to staying updated with emerging technologies and trends.
