We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Magneto Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Magneto (Adobe Commerce) platform, including custom module development, third-party integrations, and performance optimization. This is a hands-on role suited for someone passionate about clean code, scalable architecture, and delivering world-class eCommerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Magneto 2-based eCommerce websites
  • Design and implement features, extensions, and third-party integrations
  • Optimize website performance, scalability, and security
  • Collaborate with designers, frontend developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality user experiences
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Ensure coding best practices and adherence to Magneto coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise during development and in production
  • Stay current with Magneto updates, patches, and industry trends

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience working with Magneto, with at least 3 years in Magneto 2
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong PHP development skills with solid understanding of OOP and design patterns
  • Experience with MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MySQL.and jQuery
  • Expertise in developing custom Magneto modules and themes
  • Deep knowledge of Magneto architecture, including EAV, indexing, and caching
  • Experience integrating with APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways
  • Familiarity with tools like Git, Composer, and Docker
  • Understanding of security principles and performance optimization in Magneto
  • Ability to manage deployments and staging environments
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows, cart/checkout systems, and payment gateways.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills
  • Magneto 2 Certification (Developer or Solution Specialist)
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud (formerly Magneto Commerce)
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., Knockout.js, Vue.js, React)
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
